Shaytan est un groupe de Thrash Death Metal formé en fin d'année 2010 par Small ( basse ) et Olivier ( guitare ), rejoint plus tard par Gaylord ( batterie ) et Hachman* ( guitare - ancien membre du groupe Assaulter ) qui apporte l'idée du style et du nom de groupe.
L'équipe accueille à son bord Jérôme (chant), qui passera peu après à la basse et au chant, Small se consacrant essentiellement aux samples pour renforcer l'ambiance musicale et l'impact de l'aspect thrash death de Shaytan.
Le groupe trouve rapidement ses repaires et donne son premier concert le 7 avril 2012 à Hauteville sur Fier, suite à la sortie de la démo " The Beginning".

Shaytan is a Thrash Death Metal formed in the end of the 2010 year by Small ( Bass ) and Olivier ( guitar ), joined later by Gaylord ( Drums ) Hachman ( guitar - ancient member of the band Assaulter ), who brings the style and name idea.
The team chooses Jérôme ( vocals ) who became shortly afterthe bassist and vocalist, Small is focusing mainly on the samples to reinforce the musical ambiance and the impact of the thrash death metal aspect of Shaytan.
The band founds quickly his position and give their first gig in Hauteville on april the 7th, 2012, shortly after the finishing of the demo " The Beginning".
